Microsoft brings original Xbox backward compatibility to Windows PCs

Microsoft has expanded its backward compatibility initiative to Windows PCs, allowing select original Xbox titles to be played and purchased for the first time. The 'Xbox Backward Compatibility on PC' program launches with four titles, including BLiNX: The Time Sweeper and Conker: Live and Reloaded, each priced at $10. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can access these games without additional fees. Enhanced graphical features such as Vsync support and up to 4x resolution scaling are included, although games maintain their original frame rates and aspect ratios. This move signals Microsoft's intent to merge its console and PC gaming ecosystems further.
