Samsung made it way easier to open up its Galaxy Z Fold 8 foldables

Additionally, the hinge has been redesigned with reduced tension, allowing for a smoother opening experience and less reliance on strong magnets to keep the devices closed. These enhancements not only improve usability but also significantly reduce the display crease seen in earlier models.
