Nvidia backs AI data center startup Nscale as it hits $14.6 billion valuation

Nscale, a UK-based AI data center startup, has raised $2 billion at a staggering $14.6 billion valuation. The funding round featured chip giant Nvidia and was led by Aker ASA and 8090 Industries.

This investment underscores the explosive growth in AI infrastructure, as Nscale aims to build data centers and cloud services. CEO Josh Payne states, "We are building the foundation for superintelligence."

With plans for an IPO, Nscale is set to expand its operations across Europe, North America, and Asia, partnering with major tech firms like Microsoft and OpenAI.
